The 2007 Session approved a sabbatical for the pastor to take place in 2009. More thoughts on Ministry Renewal Leave can be found by following this link to the Sabbatical Page.
My blog from sabbatical, including narrative, photos and (mostly useless) video clips, can be seen at www.sabbaticalnotes.blogspot.com.
Please don't feel slighted if I don't "friend" you on facebook. As a matter of policy, I've decided not to have church members on my friends list, a decision I arrived at from a couple of different perspectives. One, who in the world wants their pastor looking over their shoulder all the time, even in semi-public conversations among friends? And two, who in the world wants to look over their pastor's shoulder all the time, even in his or her semi-public conversations among friends?
On that note, I believe I have a page, but nothing on it, on MySpace. I practically never check it.
