Sign Policy

"Carolina Beach Presbyterian Church may consider one-time requests from non-profit groups outside the church to place temporary signs on the church property, in accordance with applicable laws and civic policies and on a case by case basis. The requesting organization must be cleared by vote of the Session before the sign is posted, and the organization is responsible for the timely installation, maintenance and removal of the sign. Any damages to church property resulting from the installation of a temporary sign will be repaired by the requesting organization to the satisfaction of the church. Content must conform to Presbyterian values and the message must be coherent and as directly informative as possible. Carolina Beach Presbyterian Church reserves the right to remove the sign without notice and without reason, and will offer to return it to the organization. No signage stating or implying endorsement of or opposition to any political candidate or referendum issue, nor any other signs outside the parameters stated above, will be posted on church property."

Approved by the Session November, 2009.
